MEMBERSHIP

Membership in the Ancient Coin Collectors Guild is open to anyone interested in the collecting or study of coins from the past. Enjoy the flexibility of an annual membership, or save time and money over the long term with life membership.

I - STUDENT - $15.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Any full time student at an institution of elementary, secondary or higher learning is eligible for this special class of membership. Annual dues of $15 include voting rights for officers and at the biennial meeting.

II - FRIEND - $50.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments FRIEND of the ACCG. For individual members. Annual dues of $50. Membership includes voting rights for officers and at the biennial meeting.

III - PATRON - $250.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments PATRON of the ACCG. For individuals and firms wishing to contribute in a more significant way to the support of ACCG efforts on behalf of ancient coin collecting. Annual dues $250. Patron members will be identified as such on the ACCG website and are authorized to display the ACCG logo on their individual or business letterhead or in commercial advertisements. Patron members have the same voting rights as a FRIEND at the biennial meeting. Patron memberships are accepted or declined at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

IV - LIFE MEMBER - $1,000.00 (USD) Subscription period: Unlimited LIFE MEMBER A one-time payment of $1,000 qualifies an individual member for Life Membership with all of the rights and privileges of a Patron member. Life memberships are accepted or declined at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

V - BENEFACTOR - $5,000.00 (USD) Subscription period: Unlimited BENEFACTOR of the ACCG. A one-time commitment of $5,000 qualifies the donor as a Benefactor of the ACCG and a life member. Benefactors have the same voting rights at the bienniel meeting as a Friend or a Patron. Benefactors will be identified as such on the ACCG website and are authorized to display the ACCG logo on their individual or business letterhead or in commercial advertisements. Benefactors will receive periodic personal updates from the Executive Director detailing ACCG activities and accomplishments. Benefactor status is granted or declined at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

VI - AFFILIATE - $150.00 (USD) Subscription period: Unlimited AFFILIATE of the ACCG. Non-profit numismatic organizations or established coin clubs are eligible for membership in the ACCG as Affiliate Members for a one-time payment of $150. Annual dues do not apply, and Affiliates of the ACCG are not considered voting members, however they are authorized to display the ACCG logo on club stationary and announcements. Affiliate member organizations will be identified as such on the ACCG web site with links to their own sites if appropriate.

100% of all funds collected from memberships and donations to the ACCG are utilized in support of the ACCG's stated mission of promoting and nurturing the free and independent collecting of coins from antiquity through education, political action and consumer protection. The ACCG has no paid employees and no fixed overhead.

Because the ACCG is designated as a 501(c)(4) organization involved in issues of lobbying and advocacy, donations to the guild are generally not tax deductible on individual income tax returns.
